Camp Hill is an East suburb of Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia. Camp Hill had a population of 11,202, in the 2016 census.

Camp Hill is southeast of the CBD, 6 kilometers (3.7 mi). This is primarily a suburban neighborhood.

History of Camp Hill

Settlers in the region were farmers throughout the early days. McCann`s Greenbank Dairy was in operation in the 1860s, and at that period Peter Faust was also a farmer.

In 1873, 53 acres (21,000 m2) of land were purchased on high grounds called the White`s Hill in the suburb of Camp Hill by the White family.

In the north center of the hill, Robert White, who was a carpentry, initially built an iron hut and farmed (milking cows, pigs).
