We recognise increased uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and want to offer our reassurance that the health and well-being of our customers and team remain our highest priority.

At this time we are still open for business, however it is not 'business as usual'.  We have made some important changes to minimise the risk for our clients and our team.  We hope these changes will allow us to remain open to service our valued customers and continue to support our local community, as well as the wider Queensland economy and the Australian flower industry.

During this crisis many people will be self-isolating, increasing the risk of anxiety, loneliness and depression, we want to stay open because we believe that flowers are a perfect - and safe - gift to bring cheer, in these troubled times, to some one you care about.  Also, while Australians are actively participating in social distancing, celebrations, such as birthday's, anniversaries and other significant life events still occur.  So, if you can not be together, we want to give you the opportunity to help someone you love celebrate their special event, by sending them beautiful fresh flowers.

No Contact Orders & Deliveries

You can order, and pay, for your flower delivery via our on-line store, or by phoning the shop to place your order and paying with your credit/debit card over the phone.  We are still able to deliver flowers to most Brisbane suburbs for $10-15.  We have introduced contact-less deliveries, the recipient will be contacted via a text message or phone call, and our delivery driver will then leave the flowers in their desired location - please make sure you provide the correct contact phone number when you are ordering the flowers.  For hospital and nursing homes, we will contact the facility prior to delivering the flowers, so that we can comply with any updated procedures that they have put in place regarding flower deliveries.

In Store Sanitation & Safety

We are doing all that we can to keep our store and workshop clean and sanitised, all flower wrapping and containers/vases are sterilised with disinfectant spray or wipes, and to comply with physical distance requirements, there will be a limit to two clients at any given time, signs have been placed in the store and we kindly ask that you comply with this request.

Due to the decrease in foot traffic, we have also made the decision to reduce our opening hours from 9am - 2pm Monday - Saturday.

Fresh Flower Supply

Here at Stones Corner Flower Shop, we made a conscience decision, some time ago, to only source fresh Australian grown flowers and where ever possible flowers that are grown in SE Queensland and Northern NSW.  We will continue to work closely with local growers to utilise locally grown flowers and pass that product on to you our wonderful customers.  However, as the imported flower supply chain is now limited, many florists are switching to Australian grown products this in turn may cause shortages of some local flower varieties.  We are committed to providing our customers with the freshest locally grown seasonal flowers, for this reason we have reduced our flower selection options to 1) Market Bunch Of Sunflowers 2) Florist Choice Fresh Seasonal Blooms or 3) Australian Wayward Wildflowers - all options are available as either a gift wrapped bouquet or an arrangement in a container/vase.

Thank you

As a personal note from myself, I want to thank you with heartfelt appreciation for you ongoing support that you have shown us and the local Stones Corner Community.

WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER,

Stay safe & sanitised!
